Illustrated Stories

I collaborate with the inventive and talented Sean Metcalf to create illustrated short stories for Emanata, a comic anthology. Each issue, we’re given a theme to explore through art and writing. We brainstorm concepts and storyboard together, then pair my writing with his art to create a result that is surprising, delightful, and a little off-kilter—in the way only a story Sean and I created could be.
